Ive looked at the Beats by Dre, studio ones, but i heard that they break easily and are very expensive. I have recently bought a new headset called the ASTRO A40 GAMING HEADSET. These babies are especially designed for the guys that are part of Major League Gaming, or other words the pros. The headset comes with dolby 5.1 surround sound...sooo your probablyy dead if a fire or like a robber comes in to your house lol. They cost around $283.97 with the shipping fee, but dont let the price fool you, these will be the best headset you will ever get in your life. They are fully customizable with something called speaker tags in which you can even design your own logos and put them on your headset. It operates by magnets so you can switch between different kinds of tags. I RECOMMEND SAVING UP FOR THESE IF YOU LACK MONEY.

This is a fairly decent product for the money although there are kinks but it's 10 dollars you can't ask for top of the line. I find myself sometimes playing with the jack on the controller to get the sound right but it doesn't bother me, I also was at a misunderstanding that the product would let me hear game play but it didn't it only lets me hear gamers voices on XBL so that was downer but all in all it's decent I don't have any other issues with it other then the jack. I will be spending money on a turtle beach instead since those DO give you game play and gamer voice.

I bought the Sensational Headset, and the mic worked fine, but I couldn't hear sound through the headphones.

Until I turned the volume nob down.

Simply turn the volume down a little, so it's not on full capacity. Then it starts working fine.

I only give it a 4 star because I will be modding them to fit in my Seinhinzer HD201 headphones when I get a new pair. I have bought these on ebay and have had problems and and got a replacement which broke due to trying to bend them apart but had my hand on the adjust so it snapped eventually, so both are broke. These headphones also look big but are just solid outer plastic around the speaker to make them bigger as they are only 2.5mm which is small, My friends say the sound is better than the official headset, and I have to admit I love the mic as it is longer. I personally don't mind not hearing sound when I'm talking to friends tho for comfort, but freshly bought these headphones will not provide that. Unlike the first review they stated that they cover up both ears like the Turtle Beach headphones, which is true but the Turtle Beach headphones play stereo through them with big speakers. If you have the money go with them.

If you want to only hear chat and block out your game sound, this headset is for you. For everyone else who thinks they will be able to hear the game through these headphones, think again. I rated this headset fairly high because the sound quality is very nice, superior to the regular headset you get with the console. We have owned these for about a week and so far so good. These are an off-brand so don't think you are getting XBOX product here, but it looks very much like an XBOX product and so far we are happy. The one downside I can say, which is not really against the product, but something to think about when purchasing - These are somewhat noise-cancelling, so if you are playing Call of Duty and you want to hear what the game is saying in such matches as Seek and Destroy, etc, you might not like that part of it. For the money these are a pretty good deal and if they hold up for more than 6 months I might even purchase again.

ok this is a bit tricky. first, the size of the external isnt going to matter very much as long as it can hold ALL of your music. now, moving music. first your going to want to install the external. next, your going to find your music in the folder "iTunes music" and copy it all into your external. now open iTunes. go to edit>preferences>advanced. theres a text box there, that should say C:users*your user name*MusiciTunesiTunes Music. to the right of that box is a button that says "change" hit it. now change the destination to your external, and that should do it.

They will probably release another updated transfer kit like they did when the 60 GB drive came out. You may have to buy that one instead or use a memory card to move everything over.

I purchased this headset for use in Modern Warfare 2 and it did amazing...for about 1 week. The sound quality is excellent, the microphone quality is right in line with that, but the headset design is horribly flawed.

The earphone connection to the piece that goes over your head has only one pivot point where most headphones have at least two. This causes undue stress on a thin bit of plastic on the head piece. After one week, this broke, exposing the cables. I tried to patch it up with electrical tape, but this only lasted a couple of days before the tape fell off (the break is in an inconvenient location for repairs). I taped up the whole thing only to have the other side break two weeks later. Honestly, you are better off with a cheap piece of junk than buying this as it won't last very long and isn't work the $60.

From here on out, I am checking to make sure the headset has more pivot points at the earphones.

Love the size of the ear cup, and that it has an analog connection.

But I can NOT RECOMMEND this headset because of a flaw in its construction.

There is a thin plastic connecting piece between the earpiece and the headband that has a lot of pressure on it. Even if you are careful taking the headset off and setting it down it will eventually break. Search around the net and you will see that it has broken for MANY people in first 1-2 months after purchase.

There is nothing you can do to fix it yourself. For first year you can get exchange from company but do you want to be without your headset every 2 months? They need to change the model so it does not have this flaw.

Other than that, great headset, most comfortable out of the many I have tried.

Like everyone else, I try to find a quality cable for the least money. Previous purchases of other HDMI cables off Amazon (around the $5 range) yielded about 50% failure rates on the cables. I was skeptical at first about these since the price isn't much more than the cheapies I previously purchased, but saw all the rave reviews and thought I'd give them a try.

WOW! What a difference another $5 can make. These are very good quality, and I haven't had a bad cable yet. Packaging was excellent as well.

If you are looking for inexpensive HDMI cables that get the job done, I highly recommend giving these a try. This will be my choice again when I need to replenish my stock.

I bought a pair of these cables to connect my PS3 to my TV and my Sony sound bar. They made my PS3 games look better than the component cables I was using. I would have given them a higher score but one of them stopped working after about a week. I admit that the cable was bent a little because I had the PS3 pushed as close as I could get it to the wall. I don't think that should have been enough to ruin the cable since it wasn't bent at a sharp angle but I guess the kink caused it to crap out on me.

Many times in electronics you get what you pay for. In the case of cables, I've found out that some research and common sense can save you some big money. Buying those super dirt cheap cables will be hit or miss and you may sacrifice overall quality. You could go all out and go for those well known "beast" cables and fell good knowing you have quality. Or, you can find a brand like MediaBridge who offers many if not all of the same features as that well known brand. This cable is thick, sturdy, malleable, and just plain good quality without a premium price. Oh, and they come in a oh so easy box to open as I loathe blister packs. Can't ask for more and you shouldn't pay more than Mediabridge's prices.

First of all, I am using this cable with a Sony KDL-40EX400 HDTV and the Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray Player. The Mediabridge cable was bought as an experiment to see if lower priced cables are indeed just as good as the infamous Monster Cables! I can without hesitation confirm that these are indeed just as good - when you consider those things that are most important to the consumer (e.g. Picture clarity and overall build quality). One thing that I can't comment on as of yet is longevity. However, based upon over 600 positve reviews, I'm assuming longevity will not be an issue. I am very impressed with the overall quality of the cable. I have a set of Monster Cables as well and in a side by side comparison, the build quality of the Mediabridge cable is on par with the Monster Cable. The picture quality delivered by the Mediabridge is breathtaking! The cityscape in "I Am Legend" is absolutely crystal clear. I was speechless! There were no worlds to describe the clarity!

I will definitely be buying another for my PS3!

Overall, I would definitely recommend the Mediabridge Ultra Series cables and concur with other reviewers that it's simply not worth it to spend the extra $$$$$$ for Monster.

Compared to those days, these Xbox 360 controllers are a veritable bargain. And these controllers have much higher build quality than those old N64 controllers. (Remember how often you'd break the joystick from Mario Party) At the price Amazon currently has listed, it's entirely reasonable to purchase 4 controllers, in the event you decide to have company over.

My only qualm is with battery life. I'd definitely recommend getting one of those rechargeable battery packs, especially if you tend to play heavily. Nothing is worse than being in the middle of a game of Modern Warfare 2, with your gun aimed on a hapless victim, when your Xbox 360 suddenly says "PLEASE RECONNECT CONTROLLER." That, and batteries are pretty expensive.

All in all, these controllers are solid, durable, and cheap. What's not to love?

We have three xboxes in the house in total and two elites which are black (one MW elite) and I have to say with the variety of controllers we have, from wired to wireless and colors in white, red and black I really prefer the black wireless controllers.

I would suggest you don't use batteries unless they are the rechargeable kind because it will eat through batteries. We just purchased the charge and play kit which works just perfectly.

We did buy a used one at a local game store but are replacing it because it was apparently abused as our characters move to the side or the controller moves to the side like it's being pressed when everything checks out fine.

The ones we have owned since day one brand new have had no problems.

I'm not a gamer but I bought it so I'll review it. I bought this so I could play a game with my son and his friends. I like the fact that it is wireless and that you can turn the console on and off with it. I have played the PS2 and PS3 before and prefer the style and comfort of that controller much better. This one feels front heavy. And boy do they consume battery life. With traditional alkaline batteries you're not getting very far. But we use the 2500 mah or better batteries and get tons of playing time from the controllers. Thats about it in a nutshell.

First off, since others don't appear to understand what this device is for... This is a communications headset for chatting with other players in a game on Xbox Live, sending/receiving voice messages on Xbox live, and for use in chatting to others in an Xbox Live Party session. It is NOT designed to play sounds from the games. On a side note, I've plugged this into a cordless phone from time to time to use it hands free. Yes, it is the same as a telephone headset and will work as one in a pinch.

I have had this headset for over 3 years with no issues. I bought a second one as a backup but have never had need of it.

It works fine with the Xbox 360 headset adapter or "puck" as it's called and this is how I've always used mine. I don't bother with the volume or mute that is built into the cord. I use the mute switch on the "puck" and thus never have to move my hands from the controller.

This is not a powered device, so amplification is limited to the max volume of the controller output jack. This has always been enough for me but if you're hard of hearing or a stone deaf teenager, this may not be enough for you.

I've found this to be comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

No one ever has difficulty hearing me or says it sounds like I'm breathing into the microphone.

It doesn't pick up on background noises as easily as the Microsoft headset, so you don't get the "open mic" issue as easily during games.

It's rugged enough that if you don't abuse it, it's not going to break easily.

Many people that I've played with in R6V2 over the last 3 years have commented on how clear I sound and have switched to this headset them self.

Plantronics has been making headsets for office phones for ages and it shows in this product.

I recently purchased a Xbox 360 Arcade so I needed a headset for multiplayer gaming. After seeing how cheaply made the official Xbox headset is, I decided to go with this and am very glad I did. It's a very affordable option and has better communication than official headsets. This headset doesn't pick up any background noise, contrary to what others have said, and is quite comfortable even during long periods of use and for those with big heads (like me). I may be missing a setting on my Xbox, but this headset doesn't play game sounds, only communication from others with headsets. Lastly, the cord length is quite long which could be good for some and annoying for others. Also, I sort of wish that it had a button to toggle/press rather than the small switch on the side. It would just be easier to click back and forth, which is helpful if you're trying to talk to people at home.

I had one of those under-the-ear headsets and it broke within 6 months. I was looking around the net for a new headset that looked great and had an affordable price. I stumbled upon this headset and was amazed that the price tag was only $10. I bought in a heart beat and within 2 days, I received it. Let me tell you, this headset is amazing. The sound quality is definitely top-notch. I can hear my friends without a problem. The voice is also very responsive. I recorded myself with the headset and its clear and it didn't pick up any background noise. The overall design of the headset is really slick with its black and green which definitely matches the Xbox 360's colors. It's very sturdy and not as flimsy as other headsets I have had in the past. And overall, it's pretty comfortable to wear for long periods of time. But one thing that bothered me though is that it sometimes pulled my hair. lol.

One other small nitpick that have is that the volume and mute buttons are not directly connected to the controller. Which means that if you want to lower the volume or mute yourself, your're going to have to take your hand off the controller and go to the inline.

But other than that, this headset is the best headset I have ever owned in my gaming years. The overall quality you get is amazing. The sound, voice-pickup, design. I definitely recommend this headset to anyone who is looking for quality and an affordable price.

This is a great headset and a cheap pricetag to boot. It's comfortable even after several hours of play. The only negatives are: 1. the mic placement wasn't as adjustable as i was hoping for 2. wish volume would go louder, i have a loud a/c unit 3. wish in-line volume control was higher up on the wire

why does my xbox 360 keeps over heating every 15 minutes?

well my xbox 360 over heats all the times. it gets to red rings which means over heated.But I just play on it for like 15m then it turns off with the two rings.(i have the fan thing but it doesnt work) any one know why this happens and how it can be fix?

Alright listen closely. Look at your xbox and you will see this gray plastic cover on the side. Peel that whole thing off. Dont worry about warranty this wont mess that up. After you do that get a cotton swab and wipe the fans. Thats what causing overheating. It makes the Xbox do more work which overheats it. Good luck!

My Xbox 360 fell over while i was playing gta 4 so i picked it up and now my game wont work.Anything i can do?

The only scratch on the back is on the middle circle where it says xbox 360 all over.Is that unfixable?Is my best bet to try and send it back?
